 Barev bolorin! Hello ACYO members and family,

My name is Mary (Mariam) Iskenyan, and I’m honored to be serving on the ACYO Central Council as an Advisor this year. I proudly represent St. Paul Armenian Apostolic Church in Fresno or as many know it, Central California. Whether it’s an ACYO event, an Armenian Saturday School program, or a Badarak service, you can usually find me there.

I’m currently studying at California State University, Fresno, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Armenian Studies. I volunteer my weekends teaching at Armenian Saturday School and serving during Divine Liturgy, and ACYO has been a meaningful part of my life for the past 6–7 years.

In the future, I hope to become a counselor or advisor, and one day bring the knowledge I gain to Armenia to support our people during difficult times. I’m so excited to serve alongside such an incredible group on Central Council, grow in faith and friendship, and build new connections with ACYO members both familiar faces and new ones. I can’t wait to see what this year brings!
