In 1968, the Executive Camp Committee, chaired by John Ketchoyan, restructured the Armenian Summer Camp, and the number of campers grew. Still today, Hye Camp holds the same standards and practices with updated improvements. A unique bond was formed, and this little group, and the experiences they shared, became the mustard seed from which the current camp program developed.

BIRTHRIGHT ARMENIA

Have you ever thought of including an internship or volunteering experience in Armenia in your career path? You can do it with Birthright Armenia throughout the year. Since 2004, the program has been connecting young people from the diaspora all over the world with the best local Armenian organizations for a professional experience 100% adapted to their profile. The participants can live with a local host family, improve their Armenian language skills, meet and interact with other participants from around the world, travel on an excursion every weekend, and gain knowledge and education about the country and culture through forums and gatherings. Besides that, they get a portion of all of their airplane ticket costs reimbursed. They accept applications on a rolling basis throughout the year.
